About Amber

With over 10 years of experience operating in some of London’s top restaurants, Amber is an award-winning, classically trained chef using her skills to build and support communities.

This year Amber has crowned “Champion of Champions” in the 20th series of The Great British Menu, having secured her place at the banquet with her winning Dessert “Books, the mind’s food”.

Amber was also crowned Young Chef of The Year 2022, as well as appearing on The Great British Menu 2023 and Square Meal’s ‘Ones To Watch’ list.

Not limiting herself to the confines of fine dining kitchens, Amber is heavily involved with community projects. Having been a Young Chef Ambassador, Mental Health Ambassador and volunteering with food-based charities. She has recently spoken at the Houses of Parliament to highlight the importance of Free School Meals as part of the School Food Review 2025.

Amber now works as Head Chef and Senior Food Educator at a school in North London, building communities around food.
